Biography:

I am very passionate about helping others find happiness in life and to feel good about
themselves. I strongly believe when you feel good, you shine in life.
I have spent most of my life involved in fitness related activities. My
devotion, passion, and unwavering interest in all things health related has driven me to
apply my knowledge and enthusiasm of movement and nutrition by training clients as a
Certified Personal Trainer.
I believe in the importance of living a healthy lifestyle. I enjoy running marathons,
half marathons, training for and competing in fitness competitions, skiing, hiking with my
family, and learning to mountain bike. I am continually trying multiple fitness avenues to
expand my knowledge firsthand. I want to constantly improve how I assist my
clients and how I can apply these techniques while creating new and fun ways for clients to
reach their goals.
I hold a Bachelor of Science in Health Education from Western Oregon University and
continue to educate myself through ACE and other educational resources, as there is always
new developments in science pertaining to physical activities and health. As a Certified Personal
Trainer and I have been training multiple clients all over Sherwood for over six years. I have had
the pleasure of shadowing some of the most seasoned and top trainers in the greater Portland
Metro area and currently work at three different locations with multiple age groups. I also am
a strength and conditioning coach for Sherwood High School.
I take careful consideration when working with personal training clients or in a class setting, as
no two clients have the same limb lengths, range of motion, and they won’t look the same
when they squat and hip hinge. They don’t learn in the same fashion or respond in the same
way to a cue. When I build a workout for a client or class, I take all these factors into
consideration, and I customize a workout that leaves you feeling amazing and helps you
progress at your own pace.
